- Hello and welcome to Ed Fosters Blog, a place that I show pieces of work I have done as an illustrator and animation director, (a bit like a portfolio that I dont have to lug around) Working freelance and based in London as a Director, I am closely involved with all aspects of production from the initial concept or idea, through to scripts, storyboards, animatics, voice records, animation, editing, final sound /music composition track lay and finally where appropriate - merchandise and packaging approvals. I am on the selection panel for the National Film & Television School (NFTS), and previously been on the jury for Royal Television Awards and the Cairo Childrens Film Festival.
